Plumbers Helper Program
The Plumber's Helper Training Program is designed to teach you how to install, repair, and maintain both Commercial and Residential plumbing systems. In addition, you will learn the necessary skills to apply for a license and even apply for union membership. No prior experience is necessary, and classes start every 7 weeks.
As a graduate of our program, you will become a highly skilled and valuable laborer in the plumbing field. Plumbers install, repair, and maintain hot and cold-water supplies, drain and waste systems for domestic, commercial, and industrial applications. They also work with oil, gas, and solid fuel appliances, central heating, and cooling systems, and the NYC Plumbing code. Our course starts with the basics and builds on this educational foundation with plenty of hands-on training.
Major Subjects include: Dimensioning, Measuring, and Safety Basic Plumbing Intermediate Plumbing Installations and Repair Drain, Waste, and Venting Water Supply Systems Commercial Piping
QBITTI uses industry-standard training equipment and techniques to prepare our students for real-world plumbing jobs. Classes are split evenly between theory and actual hands-on training.
