OSHA Certifications
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is a federal agency under the U.S. Department of Labor that sets regulations for workplace safety. Their role is to assure safe and healthy work conditions for every employer, employee and customer in all commercial settings throughout the United States. Recently the City of NY enacted legislation that requires all personnel who enter an active worksite within the city limits to have a current OSHA-30 Hour Construction or OSHA 30 Hour General Industry certification, as well as many other specific safety endorsements depending on the type of work being done on site. Once you are outside of the NYC limits most worksites require the more abbreviated OSHA 10 Hour Construction or/or the OSHA 10 Hour General Industry certification. QBITTI offers both the OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 hour training courses for those individuals seeking these certifications. All of our OSHA approved courses are offered during the day, in the evening, and on weekends. The specific dates and times for the OSHA approved courses can be found on our class schedules page. Our OSHA approved courses are given on an as needed basis, and the dates are subject to change based on class-size.
